with Annette St-Amour, IHM, MA

In this talk, Annette St-Amour shares her experience of working with local communities and healers in South Sudan in response to the trauma of displacement within their own country from many years of war. St-Amour provides background on how stress, anxiety and trauma effect our brain, body and well-being. She also offers some simple body-based practices for empowering ourselves and others in healing and well-being, enabling us to envision how we desire to be whole and to cope with anxiety and stressful situations.

Annette St-Amour, IHM, MA, recently returned from 34 years of ministry in South Africa and South Sudan. She served as a primary teacher and in catechetical and religious formation in parishes, dioceses, and nationally.
